Visitors require an up-to-date Passport with or without a visa according to the nationality in question. Consult your embassy or the closest Argentine consulate for further details. Visitors from non-neighboring countries are exempt from all duties on travel effects and new items with a value not in excess of USD 300 and a further USD 300 on purchases made at Duty Free Shops on national territory.

Vaccination certificates are not required on entry to Argentina.

As from March 1, 2009 each passenger must pay an International Air Tax to the airline when purchasing the ticket, in accordance with Resolution 10/2009 passed by the Regulatory authorities of the National Airport System (Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos – ORSNA).

This tax does not apply to children under two years of age and passengers in transit.

Upon entering Argentine territory, nationals from the following countries must pay a “reciprocity tax” of the following amount, or its equivalent in Argentine pesos:

• Australia: USD 100.- (single entry)
• Canada: USD 70.- (single entry)
• U.S.A.: USD 131.-

These amounts are subject to modifications on the basis of the reciprocity agreements in effect
